I’m Not Really Evil….

…but my students tell me I have evil moments. So I thought this would be a catchy name for a blog.
I am a special education teacher. I teach at a high school in California working with students who have been assessed by the school psychologist and given a designation of emotionally disturbed. They are basically a normal bunch of teens who have been dealt a crappy hand in this game of life. Many of them do not know how to appropriately express themselves so they act out in order to be heard. Some of the stories I hear are very interesting. Some are sad and some are funny. Behind every story is a lesson and each of the lessons I have learned from my students over the past 15 years have defined me as the person I am today. It is my hope to share this year’s stories in hopes of teaching new lessons about life to anyone who is willing to learn. Enjoy.
